A new version of the BioImageXD software was released today. Along with improved stability, the release marks a significant improvement in file input capabilities. In particular, users experiencing problems with Leica files, importing image stacks, or problems related to international characters in file names, are encouraged to download the new version.

The new beta release improves the software in these areas:

• Work on software stability
• An intuitive importing function for image stacks
• Improved LIF and and vastly more efficient Leica LEI file reading
• Improvements in the animator movie encoding
• Ability to drive the image processing tools using the improved command line interface
• A new, powerful Batch Analysis tool
