These allow real time high quality volume rendering of large datasets, and are compatible with VTK, the engine under the hood of BioImageXD. We hope to support VolumePro1000 hardware on windows, linux and OS X 10.4 platforms. We are also undergoing cooperation negotiations with some major international companies as well as numerous smaller Finnish companies, many of which have already stated that they definitely want to contribute to the development of BioImageXD.
